Kyondra Hicks was born Kyondra Johnson in Houston, TX. This 80’s baby was probably the last person her highschool peers thought would become an advocate for abstinence as an adult. However, it was Kyondra’s colorful past that God used to give her a voice of authority on the subject. Growing up a “PK”, it was evident from childhood that the enemy sought her virtue. He succeeded for some time to distort her identity, which led to many hard lessons; but failed to dim her purpose.

Kyondra attended University of Houston, before entering the workforce - where she started as an Administrative Assistant and worked her way to Regional Training Director. As she journeyed professionally, she also journeyed spiritually. Although she’d made a pattern of falling for the “okie-doke” and rejecting genuine love, God invited her on a journey to sexual purity in 2009.

In that time, God was able to completely revolutionize her world. Now, with her purity and perception of Love restored, she takes pride in the beauty of holiness. Her desire is for as many people as possible to embrace God’s intent for sex and sexuality; so that people, families and communities can be restored. Kyondra is a Speaker, Purity Coach and Author. In 2014, she published her first book, ‘Journey to Sexual Purity’.

Soon after, she met Daryl Hicks, who was on his very own purity journey. This divinely connected Kingdom couple tied the knot in 2016. In 2017, they co-founded KEPTLIFE, a network for Christians seeking to live a sexually pure lifestyle. In 2019, KEPTLIFE partnered with Leading Ladies Network International to facilitate a unique 30-day purity journey for over 50 women. Together, Daryl and Kyondra continue to coach and support men and women while providing practical training for living a kept life.
